Web designer / Basic flash skills needed urgently to get up more galleries on this site.
Someone, with a MAC, to prep our projects into enhanced podcasts on Itunes.
Grant writer
Translators : to make this site into Thai, Chinese, Japanese and as many Asian languages as possible.

It is completely up to you how & when to volunteer for DAA, there are no mandatory meetings or anything.
If you don't have the time or skills to volunteer for DAA you can join for just 10$ a year.

Teaching DAA sponsored free or low cost workshops : DAA will always try to cover your costs and hopefully a little extra. There will be very general guidelines for what to cover so if a group takes a "basic photo workshop" from one teacher and an "intermediate photo workshop" later from another teacher there will be minimum overlapping. Teaching style is totally up to you.
Teaching your own, for profit, workshop or tour and relying on DAA for students and/or facilities : Content & style are totally up to you. If you use DAA to find students or use DAA facilities will ask for 20% of the fees charged. If you use rely on the DAA for both students and facilities DAA will ask for 33% of the fees charges. DAA members will receive a 20% discount on the cost of the workshop or tour.
Shooting or writing for a DAA sponsored assignment : DAA will always try to cover your costs and hopefully a little extra. The copyright remains yours, however you agree to let DAA and other NGO's publish the work. If DAA charges anyone for the use of the photo you will receive 70% of the fee. 30% will be donated to DAA to further programs.
Shooting or writing for a commercial assignment under the DAA "find a photographer/writer" program : DAA asks for 5% of the salary as a finders fee.
Selling prints, books, postcards, etc through the DAA website or Gallery : DAA will ask for 15% of the sales.
All money collected will be used to further documentary arts in Asia
Signing up does not guarantee your proposed projects or stock photos will appear on DAA's website. We set high, but achievable, standers for all our members and want to work with you to develop your abilities. What goes in your portfolio is totally up to you.
